Lesiëm's music feels like it arrives fully formed, with songs like "Ave Fortuna" and "Indalo" showing how they weave folk melodies into rock arrangements without losing the thread. Their work with producer Ethan Johns on "The Other Side of Fear" gave their sound more room to breathe. They're not chasing trends, just making the music that feels right to them.
Siblings Inês and André Sousa started the band around 2014 in Vila Nova de Gaia, with drummer David Santos joining in 2016. Their debut single "Humilitas" came out in 2020, followed by the album "The Silent Force" the next year. The second album "The Other Side of Fear" came after working with Ethan Johns.
