Les.R formed in 2006 with vocalist Haruka Chisaki, guitarist Yuto Okuda, bassist Ryohei Miyamoto, and drummer Shogo Nakai. Their debut single 'Sakura Kiss' came out in 2007, followed by songs like 'Daybreak' and 'Akai Ito.' Their first album 'Aurora' reached number three on the Oricon charts.
In 2010, 'Akai Ito' faced plagiarism accusations from a Korean composer, which Les.R denied. The song remained popular among their listeners. Other tracks like 'Daichi' and 'Koi no Mahou' also appeared in their catalog.
Their later albums included 'Starlight' and 'Genesis,' where they worked with different sounds and wrote about personal themes.
