Liam

Liam formed in London around guitarist Ethan James and vocalist Anya Blackwood, later adding drummer Jake Harper and bassist Mark Carter. Their debut album 'The Tempest' came out in 2015 and included the track 'Storm,' which became their most recognizable song. A second album called 'Echoes of the Past' followed, featuring songs like 'The Raging Sea' and 'Ashes of Yesterday.'

Their music leaned toward melodic rock with some harder edges, built on James's guitar work and Blackwood's vocals. The band's name and some of their song titles suggested a recurring theme of weather and emotional turbulence, though they didn't stick to one narrow sound. 'This Lonely Road' was another track that appeared in their catalog, showing a more reflective side.

They maintained a steady presence for a few years without the dramatic peaks or breaks that sometimes define rock narratives.
