Liam Gallagher was born in Manchester in 1972. He formed Oasis with his brother Noel in 1991, and his voice became the sound of that band's biggest hits. Their 1995 album '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' was a massive success, defining a particular moment in British rock.
After Oasis ended in 2009, Gallagher started releasing music on his own. His first solo album, 'As You Were', came out in 2017 and went to number one in the UK. Songs like 'Wall of Glass' and 'For What It's Worth' carried that familiar swagger into a new phase of his career.
He kept putting out records, including 'Why Me? Why Not.' in 2019 and 'C'mon You Know' in 2022. Tracks such as 'Everything's Electric' and 'More Power' suggest he's settled into being a solo artist without losing the direct, anthemic quality people expect from him.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
