After Life

I wake up in a forest with dry trees

Everything's so pale that i see hazy shapes

It's like to recover the vision after a collapse

And hear the sounds like a faraway echo

So, translucent shadows start to appear

They're around me, surrounding me

The melancholic sound of the cries and weeps

Are becoming clearer and deafening

It's my funeral...

After endless days, i got out of my grave

Looking for a direction to my new life

I steped down in dark valleys, i walked by lanes

And faced the excess in all of its shapes

Crossing over montains i reached the plains

There were others like me, going to the same direction

The rain falls cleaning our bodies

And we walk with our feet on the water

I'm not dead. it's not the end

I'm looking for my way in the after-life

In the lake made with the residue of our existence

I saw my last incarnation reflected on the water

I found the people who walked with me

Together we're always serching for the ascension
