Their debut album 'Hijos del Pueblo' came out in 1987, and its single 'Ese Loco Soy Yo' became a hit that pushed them to national attention. The song's lyrics about rebellion and social change connected with Mexican youth at the time.
Their music mixed hard rock, punk, and Latin rhythms. They faced some pushback for their outspoken lyrics and performances, including a ban from playing in Tijuana in 1989 after criticizing police brutality. Other songs like 'Enamorado de Un Fantasma' and 'Con el corazon en la mano' show their range beyond just rock anthems.
They kept recording through the 1990s and early 2000s with albums like 'Liberación' in 1990 and 'Resistencia' in 1998. Rodríguez, Horacio González, and Villegas remained the core of the band through lineup changes over time.
