Lidiane Braga grew up in Maceió, in Brazil's Northeast, where she heard forró, samba, and sertanejo music from an early age. She started singing as a child and kept at it through her teenage years.
Her first album came out in 2010, called 'Sonhos e Projetos.' The title track became a hit, and she followed it with three more studio albums over the next decade. She works mostly in forró and sertanejo, sometimes with a pop touch, and writes about love and everyday hopes.
In 2015 there was a plagiarism claim about one of her songs, which she said was a coincidence. She kept recording after that, putting out 'Retratos de Amor' in 2021.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
