Lifeseeker was a post-hardcore band from Philadelphia that formed in 2002. Their early lineup included vocalist Craig Mabbitt, guitarist Shane Blay, bassist Jeff Derringer, and drummer Brian Southall. They put out their debut album 'The Strength You Lack is the Strength You Need' in 2003.
Over the next few years they released albums like 'The Great Defeater' in 2005 and 'Goodbye, Division' in 2007. Songs like 'Gone Guru' and 'Like A Ninja' came from this period. The band went through several lineup changes, with Mabbitt and Derringer leaving in 2006, replaced by Kyle Shea and Josh Jenkins.
Southall left in 2008, and Mabbitt eventually joined Escape the Fate. Matt Bachand became the new vocalist. Lifeseeker released 'Still' in 2011 and 'The Distance in Between' in 2013 before going on hiatus in 2014. They reunited in 2018.
