Lightscape

Lightscape formed in London in the early 2000s with Alex Hayes on vocals and guitar, James Carter on bass, and Ben Thompson on drums. Their debut album 'Shadows in the Light' came out in 2003 and included the song 'Blinded By The Lights,' which became their most recognizable track.

That song's melody drew some attention in 2006 when people noticed it sounded similar to a melody by another artist. The band denied copying anything. They kept making albums through 2016, with titles like 'The Edge of the World' and 'The Silent Years.'

Their lyrics sometimes dealt with social issues, which turned some listeners away but connected with others. The three original members stayed together through their recording years.
