A Georgia rapper who broke through with Lil Wayne's crew, then stepped back to write more personal songs.

He was part of that early-2010s Young Money wave when it felt like everyone was listening. Songs like 'I Wrote This Song For You' from his debut album got real traction. After some legal trouble, the newer stuff like 'Should've Never' and 'Flowers' sounds like it's coming from a different, quieter place.

His first album, 'Don't Get It Twisted,' came out in 2012 and landed at number 9 on the Billboard 200. A track from it, 'I Wrote This Song For You,' got some real attention. Other songs from around that time, like 'Lambo Music' and 'Ball Out,' filled out his early catalog.

In 2013, he was arrested for drug possession and DUI. After that, he stepped back from music for a while. The existing record suggests he spent some of that time writing and recording new material that dealt with more personal themes.
