Lilio formed in Madrid in 2016 with Natalia Lacunza on vocals, Irene López on guitar, Carla García on bass, and Sara López on drums. Their debut single "Houston" came out in 2019 and found an audience. After Lacunza left in 2020 to go solo, Irene López took over as lead vocalist and songwriter. The band kept working, releasing the album "Polaris" in 2021 and the single "Llueve" in 2022.
