Lincoln (BR)

Lincoln formed in São Paulo in the late 1980s with Fábio Golfetti on vocals and guitar, Lúcio Flávio on bass, and Paulo Paula on drums. Their debut album 'Desencanto' came out in 1993 and included the track 'A Encruzilhada,' which became their most recognizable song. The band developed a following in Brazil's underground rock scene with a sound that leaned toward the experimental side.

Golfetti left the band in 1996, which led to a period of uncertainty. They eventually continued with Maurício Pereira taking over vocal duties. Later albums like 'O Silêncio dos Inocentes' (1999) and 'Todos os Dias' (2004) showed the group adapting while keeping some of their earlier character. Their catalog includes songs like 'Preciso de Você,' 'Obrigado Meu Pai,' and 'Deita em Mim.'

They've maintained a fairly steady presence since the 1990s, releasing records like 'Linha do Tempo' in 2010 and 'Intemporal' in 2020. The core of Flávio and Paula has remained through most of their run, with Pereira joining after Golfetti's departure.
