Lincoln Lózer

Lincoln Lózer came up in Salvador da Bahia, where the local samba and reggae sounds shaped his approach to vocal harmony and percussion. He started playing at neighborhood events and street corners, working out a style that mixed those traditional Bahian rhythms with contemporary pop touches.

His song 'Basta Uma Palavra' became a breakout hit, though it also brought some trouble when plagiarism allegations surfaced around it. The situation got resolved, but it was a noticeable bump early on. He kept writing, and another track, 'Bandeira da Vitória,' also found an audience.

His first album was called 'Amor e Resistência,' and it had a mix of upbeat sambas and quieter ballads. Later records like 'Bahia Negra' and 'Entre Folhas' kept exploring Bahian rhythms while folding in more modern production. He plays guitar and sings, and his band includes Bruno Aranha on bass and Léo Neves on percussion.
