They started out playing local bars and clubs, working on original material that would eventually include songs like 'Através de Seus Olhos' and 'Guerra Urbana'.
In 2003, 'Através de Seus Olhos' became a major hit in Brazil. The song's popularity brought the band mainstream attention, though it also drew some plagiarism accusations that Link 38 denied.
They've released six studio albums between 2003 and 2016, starting with their self-titled debut. The current lineup features Fábio on vocals, Paulinho on guitar, Luiz on bass, and Marcelo on drums.
