Link Five8 formed in 2008 with five members: Bruno, Felipe, Matheus, Rodrigo, and Tica. They started releasing music in Brazil, putting out their first album in 2010.
In 2012, their song "Lembranças" connected with listeners in a way their earlier work hadn't. The track became popular on Brazilian charts. Another song from around that time, "Meus Sentimentos," also found an audience.
The band kept recording over the next decade, releasing another album called "Raízes" in 2022. Bruno Lins handled lead vocals and wrote lyrics, while Felipe Silva played bass and sang backing parts.
