Liranov started as a trio in Moscow around 2014, with Anastasia Karpovich on vocals, Alexey Golovin on guitar, and Artem Strelov on bass. They played local clubs and festivals, working through the usual early struggles of a new band without much money or attention.
In 2016, they put out a single called "Кружева" (Lace), which caught on in a way their earlier material hadn't. The song's quiet, drifting feel and Karpovich's voice seemed to connect with listeners, and it became their best-known track.
After that, they kept recording, releasing albums like "Сны" in 2018 and "Ветром" in 2020. Their sound stayed in that same moody, folk-tinged space, built around Karpovich's singing and Golovin's guitar lines.
