Little King formed in São Paulo in 2006 as a Brazilian pop-rock band. Their debut single 'Garoto Charmoso' caught on with listeners, giving them an early foothold. The group originally included vocalist Marcelo Camelo, guitarist Rodrigo Amarante, bassist Fabrício Gambogi, and drummer Thiago Pethit.
Amarante left the band in 2011, and the remaining three continued as a trio. They put out four albums between 2007 and 2014, starting with 'Admirável Chip Novo' and ending with 'O Tempo e a Síntese'. Some critics found their lyrics too sentimental, but they kept making music for their fans.
