Little Caesar formed in Los Angeles in 1987, with Ron Young on vocals and guitar, Mark Tremalgia on bass, and Loren Molinare on drums. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1990 and included 'Those Oldies But Goodies,' which became their best-known track. The band's lineup changed over time, with other members like Joey Brasler and Tom Morris coming through.
They put out a few more records in the early '90s, including 'Influence' in 1992 and 'American Dream' in 1994. Some critics found their throwback rock style too familiar, but songs like 'Ain't Got It' and 'Ballad Of Johnny' kept a straightforward, guitar-driven sound. Ron Young stayed with the band through various configurations and also worked on solo material.
