Little Red Lung formed around the turn of the millennium with Leah Martinez on vocals. Their debut album 'Blood and Bruises' came out in 2004, followed by 'The Devil's Garden.' The band included guitarist Ethan Grey, bassist Anya Blackwood, and drummer Jared Wolf.
Their song 'Fangs' became something of an anthem for them, along with tracks like '50 Fingers' and 'I Found Me.' They played with a raw energy that drew from punk, goth, and metal influences, though they never settled neatly into any one of those categories.
Little Red Lung disbanded in 2015 after about a decade of touring and recording. Their music had an uncompromising quality that earned them both praise and criticism, but mostly it just sounded like itself.
