Livesavers Underground formed in Portland, Oregon in 2003, with Nicole Reynolds on vocals and guitar, Ryan Park on bass, and Shane Ainsworth on drums. They put out three albums between 2005 and 2010: 'Untethered' in 2005, 'No Tassel' in 2007, and 'Bound' in 2010. Their best-known song is 'Tether No Tassel'.
Reynolds' personal struggles with mental illness and addiction surfaced in the band's lyrics, which gave their music a raw, introspective quality. The lineup changed when Ainsworth left in 2006 and was replaced by Eli Grant on drums. The band stopped putting out music after 2010.
