Lizia formed in 2010 with vocalist and guitarist Lizia Vassiliou, bassist Ethan Jodziewicz, and drummer Jordan Thomas. Their debut album 'In Your Hands' came out in 2011, followed by 'Self-Portrait' in 2015. The band's third album 'All My Heroes Are Dead' arrived in 2019.
In 2017, Lizia released 'At Least I'm Feeling Nothing,' a single that became their most recognizable track. Other songs like 'Baby Stay,' 'Depressed Kids,' 'Masoquista,' and 'Monsoon' round out their catalog.
Vassiliou's lyrics often touched on mental health and addiction, which drew both attention and some criticism around the time of 'Self-Portrait.' The band kept writing through that period, putting out 'All My Heroes Are Dead' a few years later.
