Lizzie McGuire was a band that came out of the Disney Channel sitcom of the same name. The group originally featured Hilary Duff, Lalaine, and Jake Thomas, with Yani Gellman joining later. Their first album, "All Things Lizzie," came out in 2001 and included the single "Walk Me Home."
They put out a couple more albums, "Lizzie McGuire Total Party" in 2002 and the "Lizzie McGuire Movie Soundtrack" in 2003. Other songs from that time include "What Dreams Are Made Of" and "Hey Now." The band's lineup didn't stay stable for long. Jake Thomas left in 2003, and Lalaine departed the following year after a disagreement with Hilary Duff.
Lizzie McGuire was active for only a few years in the early 2000s. Their music was tied closely to the television show, and songs like "Volare" and "Believe" appeared on their soundtracks.
