Lobos e Chacais formed in 2010 when Bruno Medina, Leonardo Ramos, and Ricardo Braz met at university in São Paulo. They started as a trio with Medina on vocals and guitar, Ramos on bass, and Braz on drums. Their first album 'Cabeça de Lobo' came out in 2014, followed by 'Soturno' in 2018.
In 2021 they released '69 Formas,' which includes the track of the same name that became a fan favorite. The song 'Só Mais Uma' also appears among their most recognized work. Their sound pulls from rock and folk with some experimental touches, though they've avoided fitting neatly into any single category.
Some of their lyrics have drawn criticism from conservative listeners in Brazil, but they've generally kept making music on their own terms. They haven't released much publicly about their current activities since '69 Formas' came out.
