One Sided Hourglass

Disillusions of grandeur reflect upon the glass,

Particles flows so fast, you miss you what's past.

The goal, the glare, your persistent stare,

You've missed what's here and not over there.

Fingers stepped on, backs behind being creeped upon,

A grip so tight it slips from your palm.

Finger tip, slips through the groove of your print,

Like a shade of tint leaves not a victim a hint.

A wizards wand, conductors baton,

March your little lemmings, leave them stepped on.

Your actors discontent with the parts they play,

And your left oblivious to what they say.
