Lóktus formed in Brazil in the early 2000s with vocalist Bruna Caram, guitarist Leo Torres, bassist Bruno Miranda, and drummer Rafael Costa. They released their first album in 2004 and have put out several others since, including A Vida in 2007, O Silêncio in 2010, Dança in 2013, and O Caminho in 2020.
Their 2016 album Eu Só Danço Com Você shares its name with their most recognizable track. That song, along with Se Lembra, shows their tendency to mix rock and pop with some jazz and electronic touches. Caram's vocals tend toward the ethereal, while the guitar work stays intricate.
But they've kept a fairly stable lineup and continued putting out music.
