Looking Up formed in Mexico City around 2010 as a trio with Pablo Chaparro, Diego Mier, and Fernando Burgos. They started playing live shows and putting out their own material before signing with the independent label Intolerancia Records in 2012. Their first album, 'Todos Los Mundos Posibles,' came out the following year.
Their songs like 'Cuentos' and 'Somos Dos' found an audience with lyrics that felt personal and direct. The band kept working, releasing another album called 'Historias de un Mundo Imaginario' that built on what they'd started. They didn't fit neatly into one genre, which seemed to work for them.
