Lisa Lopes was part of TLC, the hip-hop trio that formed in 1991 with Tionne Watkins and Rozonda Thomas. Their first album, 'Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip,' came out in 1992. She contributed to writing some of the group's songs, including 'Waterfalls' and 'No Scrubs.'
In 2001, she released a solo album called 'Supernova.' The record included tracks like 'Block Party' and 'Breathe.' She also did some acting in films and television shows around that time.
In 1994, she was involved in an incident where she set fire to her boyfriend's house, which resulted in probation and community service. She died in a car accident in Honduras in 2002.
