Lorena was a German melodic rock band formed in 1985 by brothers Jens Kurth and Andreas Lebon. They put out their self-titled debut album in 1987, which included the track 'Shadow of the Night' that got some European radio play. Their sound had the kind of big choruses and clean production you'd hear from bands like Journey or Foreigner around that time.
Their second album, 'No Limits,' came out in 1988 and had the song 'Still Loving You' on it. That ballad became their biggest hit, getting heavy rotation on radio stations across Europe and Asia. It's the track most people remember them for, along with others like 'Tactel' and 'Call Me' from around that period.
The band also faced accusations that the melody was lifted from another song, though they ended up winning that legal fight. Jens Kurth left the group in 1994.
