La nena era cuarentona:

Cuando comenzó la fiesta
tocaron la chacarera
y un rengo que la bailaba
levantaba polvareda.
La vieja, con disimulo,
contaba los invitados.
El marido, que era tuerto,
le cuidaba los regalos.
El novio muy compadrito,
