Los Ciclones Del Arroyo formed in 1971 in Buenos Aires, led by vocalist Jorge "El Flaco" Lencina. Their song "Y Alegale" became one of their most recognizable tracks. The band's lineup included Daniel "El Sapo" Flores on guitar, Juan Carlos "El Tuerto" Roldán on bass, and Ricardo "El Polaco" Gómez on drums.
They released their debut album "Los Ciclones" in 1971 and followed with "Chau Chau Chau" in 1979. Their music mixed cumbia with rock and funk elements, and their lyrics sometimes addressed social issues. The group disbanded in the early 1990s.
