Los Furios came out of Argentina's rock scene in the 1980s, fronted by Carlos "Gringo" García. Their song "Gringo" became a hit, with its raw energy and lyrics that connected with listeners. The band's lineup included Guillermo Sbarbatti on guitar, Gabriel "Furia" Martínez on bass, and Bernardino "Pirincho" Gómez on drums.
They released albums like "No Queremos Decirles" in 1985 and "Argentina, Vos Sos Así" in 1987. Other songs in their catalog include "Running In Circles" and "Together As One." García's outspoken style and the band's direct lyrics drew some criticism, but that seemed to strengthen their following.
By the early 1990s they had put out records like "Viene Ya" and "De Hoy en Adelante." The song "Gringo" stayed in rotation long after, one of those tracks that kept turning up on rock radio and at gatherings.
