Los Pesos

Los Pesos formed in Puerto Rico in 2007 with members El Pescao, Los Mackediches, and Lele "El Arma Secreta." Their early years involved financial struggles, but they kept working on music that connected with street-level audiences. In 2011, their single "Como No" featuring Tego Calderón broke through internationally, becoming an anthem that defined their sound.

Their discography includes albums like "Los Pesos vs. La Calle" from 2007, "Experimento" in 2009, and later releases such as "La Calle Nos Llama" and "Pesos Over You." Songs like "Disposición" and "Oración a Ogum" show their range, blending reggaeton with touches of hip-hop and Puerto Rican folk elements. Their lyrics often address love and social issues, which resonated with a broad fanbase.

Over time, their lineup expanded to include DJ Memo and DJ Luian. They've worked with artists like J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Ozuna, though their music has sometimes drawn criticism for explicit content. They maintained a steady output through the 2010s, evolving their approach while staying grounded in the rhythms that first caught attention.
