Los Rebujitos

Los Rebujitos formed in 1999 in Jerez de la Frontera, with brothers Enrique and Manuel Heredia starting the group alongside their cousins Juan Manuel and Francisco Heredia. Their first album, 'El Poder del Mar,' came out in 2003 and found an audience with its energetic take on Andalusian rhythms. They followed it with records like 'Al Alba con Alegría' in 2005 and 'Lágrimas de Mora' in 2007.

Songs like 'Quiero' and 'Todos Los Besos' became staples for the band, mixing traditional sounds with straightforward pop melodies. Their music often leaned on the regional styles they grew up with, giving it a recognizable feel even as they worked in more contemporary arrangements.

In 2005, there were accusations that Los Rebujitos had plagiarized a song from the group Ketama, though the matter was eventually dismissed. A few years later, in 2013, they faced criticism after being caught lip-syncing at a concert, which drew attention away from their recordings for a time. Enrique Heredia, known as 'El Negri,' handles vocals for the group.
