Los Tímidos formed in Guadalajara in the mid-1990s. Their debut album 'Enamorado de Ti' came out in 1996, with the title track helping establish them as a Mexican pop band.
Their song 'Tu Eres Esa Chica' appeared on their 1999 album of the same name. In 2000, after drummer Rigo Rayas died in a car accident, they released 'Tu Eres Mi Destino' with a new drummer.
