Los TNT

Los TNT formed in Medellín, Colombia in 1987, with Jorge Celedón on vocals, Jimmy Zambrano on accordion, and Alfredo Gutiérrez on bass. They worked with vallenato traditions but brought in other rhythms, which didn't always sit well with purists. Their 1993 single "Caracola" became a breakout hit, its melody and romantic lyrics connecting with listeners across Latin America and beyond.

They toured through Latin America, Europe, and the United States, building a following with songs like "Eso eso eso." The band faced persistent rumors about drug connections that complicated their standing in some parts of the industry. They kept recording and performing through it, though the existing history trails off before detailing their later work.
