Lost Autumn formed in Stockholm around 2005. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2007, and they've generally been described as a Swedish metal band. The lineup has included Anders Aarum on vocals and Johan Rydén on guitars, with Emanuel Ekström on bass and Fredrik Åkesson on drums.
One of their better-known songs is 'A Letter To Emily,' which appeared on their 2010 album 'Farewell.' Anette Olzon provided guest vocals on that track. Other songs in their catalog include 'Anthem For The Weak,' 'Beautiful Disaster,' 'Burn,' and 'Colors Faded.'
In 2013, Aarum had to step away from the band for a period due to health issues, which led to some show cancellations. He later returned.
