Louis the Child is a Chicago electronic duo made up of Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett, who started working together in 2013. Their track 'Better Not' with Wafia got some attention early on, and they've put out a few EPs and an album called 'Here For Now' in 2019. They work with other singers fairly often, songs like 'It's Strange' with K. Flay and 'Every Color' with Foster the People show that pattern.
Hauldren handles most of the production, while Kennett contributes vocals. Their sound has that bright, melodic electronic feel you hear on 'Slow Down Love' or 'Weekend' with Icona Pop. They're still based in Chicago, and they put out a collaborative EP with Wafia in 2021 called 'Euphoria'.
