Luasnove formed in Belo Horizonte in 2006. The band's name plays on the Portuguese phrase for "full moon." Their debut album, "Cego, Surdo e Mudo," came out in 2009, and its title track became a hit in Brazil.
Early members included vocalist and guitarist Rafael Teles, bassist Marcelo Tavares, and drummer Jader Cunha. Later, keyboardist Guilherme Arantes, percussionist Rodrigo Lima, and backing vocalist Mariana Reis joined the group.
They released several albums after their debut, including "Mar De Rosas" in 2012, "Cores" in 2015, and "Tudo É Samba" in 2018. Another song, "Por Tudo A Perder," appears among their most recognized tracks.
