LUC (EUA)

LUC formed in Mount Pleasant, Michigan in the late 1990s, with Bob Nanna, Brian Chartrand, and Tyler Stewart starting to play together. They put out their first album, 'When the Sun Drowns,' in 2001. That record had a song called 'Running Down The Halls' that people connected with.

They kept making albums through the 2000s and into the 2010s, like 'Maybe I Can Make a Friend' and 'The Great Divide.' The group's lineup stayed pretty steady with Nanna on vocals and guitar, Chartrand on guitar, Tyler Stewart on drums, and Patrick Phillips on bass.

Their music had a raw, emotional quality to it. Another track, 'Lost In Love,' gives a sense of that sound. They were part of an alternative scene that drew from bands like Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins.
