Lucas César

Lucas César is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from São Paulo. He started playing guitar and singing on his own, learning by ear rather than formal training. In 2015, he put out 'Dançarina,' a track that mixed pop with samba rhythms and caught on quickly in Brazil.

That song became his breakthrough, though it also brought some trouble. A few years later, in 2018, he was accused of lifting part of the melody from another artist's work. César denied it, saying he wrote it himself, and the dispute didn't really slow him down.

He's released albums like 'Eu Quero Tocar,' 'Desperto,' and 'Escuridão,' and other songs like 'Não Comigo' and 'Pula Daí' have kept his sound in rotation. His music tends to blend pop with Brazilian styles like samba and sertanejo, staying grounded in those rhythms without overcomplicating things.
