Lucian Viziru first appeared on Romanian television in the early 2000s, auditioning for the reality show 'Popstars.' He didn't make the final cut, but soon after formed the pop band Predestinati. Their debut single 'Vorbim la telefon' became a hit, and they released albums like 'Predestinati' in 2001, 'Strada mea' in 2003, and 'Bagaj de dor' in 2005.
In 2004, two original members left the band, which seemed to mark a shift in their momentum. Around that time, Viziru's relationship with singer Mihaela Rădulescu drew considerable media attention, sometimes pulling focus from the music.
By 2008, he began releasing solo material while still performing occasionally with Predestinati. Songs like 'Nimic nu-i întâmplător' and 'Te iubesc' came out during this period. He also did some acting and television hosting work alongside the music.
