Archive material and source history
Luckerob started as a punk-pop band in Los Angeles in the early 2000s, originally calling themselves The Outsiders. They built a local following with energetic live shows before signing to Punk Rock Forever in 2004. Their debut album 'Breaking the Chains' came out that year, but it was their 2006 follow-up 'Electric Thunder' that really broke through.
The single 'Bolt' from that album became their signature track, hitting number one in several countries. It had a catchy melody with punk guitar work that connected with younger listeners. They followed it with other songs like 'Dive Deep' and 'Fountain' that kept their sound in rotation.
Their lyrics sometimes touched on social and political themes, which led to some public disagreements with conservative groups. In 2008 they had a legal dispute with a former label that they eventually won. They kept releasing albums through 2015, including 'Revolution' in 2009 and 'Unbreakable' in 2015.
