Luckie Strike

Luckie Strike came together in Los Angeles in the early 2000s, with Anya Savenko on vocals, Ethan James on guitar, Marcus Kane on bass, and Daniel Wright on drums. Their debut single 'Alice' came out in 2005 and got some attention for its moody feel and Savenko's voice. They put out four albums between 2005 and 2013, starting with 'Elegy for Alice' and ending with 'The Last Goodbye.'

Beyond 'Alice,' their catalog includes songs like 'Big Mistake,' 'Carpet,' and 'Four Years.' The band had a fairly quiet run after their initial burst, and their music tends to sit in that space between rock ballad and something a little more atmospheric, without ever really breaking into huge mainstream territory.
