Here we are, two across a river--

having given all we have got.

Tie a ribbon into a knot,

anywhere to go from this corner.

And the window allowance on the bridges,

makes the bravest the one to cross.

You may have gambled things a little

just to meet me in the middle and lost.

I took some pictures and I signed some autographs last year,
