Lui-G 21 Plus

Lui-G 21 Plus formed in 2008 with Luis Guillermo Rivera as the frontman. Their debut album came out in 2011 and included 'Un Beso,' a song that got attention for its melody and lyrics about relationships. They're from Puerto Rico, and their music often deals with love and personal themes, as you can hear in tracks like 'No Me Hables de Amor' and 'A Mi Manera.'

They put out two more albums after that first one: 'Como Te Hago Entender' in 2015 and 'El Amor No Duele' in 2018. The band includes Rivera on vocals along with Gabriel Merced on keyboards, David Cortes on bass, and Alberto Rodriguez on drums. Their sound mixes rhythms that feel grounded in their local scene without trying to overexplain it.

There was some talk around 2013 about whether 'Un Beso' borrowed too much from another song, but that didn't stick. They kept playing and recording, with songs like '2 Cachas' and 'A Quien No' showing up in their setlists. It's straightforward stuff, no grand claims, just a band that found a few songs people connected with.
