In 1985, they released the album 'Silverado.' The title track became a major hit in Brazil. Another song from their catalog, 'Você Não Me Conhaque,' also found an audience.
Fernando was arrested on drug charges in 1992, which paused their work for a time. Luís Goiano was diagnosed with cancer in 2003 but returned to performing after treatment. They kept recording through the 1990s with albums like 'A Ferro e Fogo' and 'Degrau por Degrau.'
