Luis R Conriquez

Luis R Conriquez was born in Caborca, Sonora, Mexico in 1996. He grew up in a musical family and started writing songs early, drawing from traditional Mexican music.

In 2018, his debut single "El H" with Tito Torbellino Jr became a hit. That song and others like "El Gavilán" with Tony Aguirre y Peso Pluma work in the narcocorrido style, which tells stories about drug traffickers. This has drawn criticism from some who say the music glorifies crime, while others see it as reflecting certain realities.

He has released albums including JGL in 2019, Corridos Belicos 2 in 2021, and Con Takos y Cerveza in 2022. He often collaborates with other artists like Natanael Cano and Los Tucanes de Tijuana.
