He worked with musicians like guitarist Andrés Montes and bassist Daniel Rodríguez. Albums like "Sueños" in 1978 and "Enamorado" in 1982 followed. In 1985, he faced plagiarism allegations over the song "Por Favor," but his popularity held.
His later work included the 1987 album "Cariño." The music found listeners in Spain and across Latin America, carried by his smooth vocals and straightforward delivery.
