Lukhas Mota

Lukhas Mota was born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1995. He grew up in a musical household where he heard folk, rock, and Brazilian pop, with early influences including Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Caetano Veloso.

In 2018, he released the single "Find Me," which gained attention for its haunting melody and vulnerable lyrics. The following year, he put out his debut album "Changes," which received critical praise for its introspective songwriting and lush arrangements. He toured in support of that album.

Mota has performed solo but sometimes works with other musicians like guitarist Matheus Pimenta, bassist Gabriel Marques, and drummer Pedro Apolinário. In 2021, he faced plagiarism allegations that were later dismissed, and he has spoken publicly about mental health struggles.
