Luminna formed in 2011 around vocalist and guitarist Larissa Tassi, with bassist Rodrigo Costa and drummer Gustavo Galotti. Their debut album 'O Caminho' came out in 2013, featuring the song 'Oculta Tempestade' that became their most recognizable track.
Gustavo Galotti left the band in 2015 and was replaced by drummer Bruno Wambier. They've released several albums since their debut, including 'EquilÃbrio' in 2015, 'Portais' in 2019, and 'Tempus' in 2021.
At some point, Luminna faced accusations that 'Oculta Tempestade' resembled another artist's work, which they denied. The band's music tends toward the atmospheric and introspective, with nature themes appearing in their lyrics.
